Community Concerns Uganda Initiative (CCUg) is a registered community-based Non-Government Organization established in 2012 and currently operating in 5 districts in the Busoga sub region (Jinja, Mayuge, Kamuli, Luuka and Buyende). Our vision is an educated, healthy and productive community free from poverty.
Our mission is to provide education and skills to empower women and girls acquire capacity for sustainable income generation, and contribute towards development of their communities.
CCUg provides grassroots-based integrated services to help vulnerable women and girls to build skills to reduce household poverty. Our main focus is to use education to rally the rural and urban poor to attain knowledge, skills and other resources to get themselves out of poverty.
We serve girls, women and youths. Our values are love, Care, Serving, Sharing, Respect accountability and transparency
