College 101

College101 is a new non-profit organization (launching June 2021 with a website forthcoming!) committed to expanding opportunities for learners to earn an affordable college degree that promises both a high quality education and meaningful job-placement. This is what today’s economy and employers are demanding - high quality, flexible, affordable, and accountable degree- and certificate-granting programs and institutions. We believe that our country’s higher education system must live up to its promise to ensure quality and protect consumers . We know that many institutions are not delivering the learning or earning outcomes that students believe they are paying (often too much) for, and we know that many more current and future are or can deliver this value that learners expect and deserve. Their stories need to be told. And we need to create space for more value-focused entities. This is what we believe and this is our work at College101.
