American Cancer Society Discovery Shop
Missão
For 40 years, The American Cancer Society has owned and operated a chain of specialty resale stores, created to help support the fight against cancer. The American cancer Society Discovery Shops accomplish this through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise. There are 41 Discovery Shops in California, including our store in Pacific Grove. The Discovery Shops are staffed primarily by dedicated volunteers, many who have been personally touched by cancer, who passionately contribute their time, energy and skills.

You meet the nicest people in our Discovery Shop - the kind of people who give of their time and talent to personally help make a difference.
Our shop sells quality resale items and all monies go directly to fight cancer. The shop is bright and attractive and provides a pleasant work environment. We need volunteers who have a desire to share their energy and enthusiasm for a few hours a month.
Underscoring the importance of our work is the fact that our volunteers help fund American cancer Society programs of Research, Education, Advocacy and Patient Services.
