Project Harmonist works to generate social capital in new and different ways to build a healthy North Brooklyn community. We see civic participation not only as associational membership, but as any face-to-face engagement amongst community members in which we are challenging the ways we think and sharing our ideas on real issues with each other.
The mission of Project Harmonist, Inc. is to promote and sustain volunteer service and civic engagement in North Brooklyn to strengthen our community. As the neighborhood continues to grow and diverse, we think it is especially important for neighbors to get to know one another on a personal level in order to understand the social issues our community faces and to constructively address these issues in solidarity.
Our 501c(3) status is currently pending.
