Genesis Prevention Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive behavioral healthcare services to veterans and servicemembers. Genesis has a 25-year track record of managing nationally recognized, community based veteran and substance abuse, mental health programs to redress poverty and homelessness. The groundbreaking quality of Genesis Prevention Coalition’s work has earned a Governor’s Award for Excellence in Behavioral Health; recognition as a “Prevention Pioneer” in Georgia for “continued Dedications and Contributions” by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities; Banker’s Trust Award for Nonprofit Management; “Successful Government Partner” by the White House Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives; a ten-year award from the Drug-Free Communities Support Program; and Mentoring Program sponsored by the White House Office of Drug Control Policy.
