Bach Concert Series

The Bach Concert Series performs concerts of Bach masterworks at Christ Lutheran Church (701 S. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21230) on the first Sunday of each month. All concerts are open to the public and most have been free. A choir of 35 is joined by a professional baroque orchestra and soloists. Maestro Herbert Dimmock conducts the Choir and gives a brief introduction to Bach’s musical language at the beginning of each concert by briefly explaining Bach’s music – and then having the musicians demonstrate each of Bach’s ideas. Free parking is available in the church’s garage (details on the web site). The Bach Concert Series Choir practices at Christ Church on Sundays at 5 PM.
