Office of the Education Ombudsman

The Office of the Education Ombudsman (OEO) is an agency within the Governor’s Office that provides information regarding the public school system, promotes family and community involvement in education, helps resolve conflict between families and schools, and makes recommendations to policy makers. OEO welcomes interns to work in our office throughout the year. This program allows individuals to make meaningful contributions to K-12th students and families in Washington State while earning academic credit, exploring career options or gaining valuable professional experience.
