    The Bedford-Stuyvesant I Have a Dream Program is a nonprofit, privately-funded organization which provides afterschool supplementary teaching, studying environment, cultural enrichment, field trips, and college scholarships to high school students living in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn. These students are vary widely in academic standing, but all have applied to be in the program and have signed contracts promising to perform in school and at IHAD at a professional level. Currently, there are approximately 27 students in the 11th and 12th grades in the program, and an additional 50 alumni in college.
