Peace and Hope International

Peace and Hope International (PHI) is the international program office for Paz y Esperanza with offices and staff in Minneapolis, MN, USA and Lima, Peru. Founded and rooted in South America, Paz y Esperanza (Peace and Hope) is a pioneering faith-based human rights organization that seeks justice for people and communities who suffer injustice and poverty.

With field offices in Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, Paz y Esperanza's work focuses on holistically caring for victims of injustice (through legal, social, psychological and aftercare services) and transforming unjust social structures to prevent further abuses. Paz y Esperanza's social transformation work includes mobilizing people and communities to be justice-seekers and advocating for systemic change in partnership with local stakeholders.

Paz y Esperanza's core areas of work include:

• promoting the rights of indigenous communities,
• people with disabilities, and victims of human rights violations,
• promoting environmental stewardshi, and
• peace building.
