KIDS CARE CORPORATION

Our MISSION as a service learning non-profit is to create, support, and implement youth community service experiences. We do this by volunteering together in a variety of ways for our community with fresh ideas from kids - teenagers on who, what, when, where and how they want to help our community grow. With a VISION for a balanced, healthy and safe world for all humans, animals and Planet Earth - Where We All Take Time To Care.

In 2021, KIDS CARE community impact included:

• 3,111 Food Donations were collected and given to the Center for Family Resources, The Salvation Army, Cobb Senior Services and M.U.S.T. Ministries.
• 520 Volunteer Service Hours all total
• 283 Backpacks stuffed with supplies were given to Cool Kids Committee, Family Promise, Ser Familia, Simple Needs of GA, LiveSafe Resources, Safe Path, Center for Family Resources & Osborne High School.
• 5 Environmental Litter Pick Ups & Environmental Awareness Lessons.
• 4 Youth Community Service Planning Sessions.

In 2020, our community impact was:

• 1,125 Kindness Cards given to Cobb County First Responders & Hospital Staff with words of thanks & encouragement.
• 1,583 Books collected & given to LiveSAFE Resources, Project LIT & Books for Africa.
• 227 Pairs of Shoes collected & given to Eco-Sneakers & LiveSAFE Resources.

In 2019, our community impact was:

• 739 Handmade Holiday Cards made and delivered to Military Personnel Serving Overseas for the holidays.
• Multiple litter pick ups and awareness lessons..
• "Project Straw-Over" Raise awareness of the negative effects of plastic straws on our environment. We handed out hundreds of alternative straws to the local public and businesses.
