Child Crisis Arizona’s mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families.

Child Crisis Arizona has been helping our community’s most vulnerable children, youth and families for nearly five decades. In times of crisis, we are there to help. When no crisis threatens, we are there to strengthen families, build resiliency and prevent crisis situations.

We do this through prevention, intervention and education programs designed to support the thousands of children and families who may be at risk. All of our work centers on our vision of safe kids...strong families.

Resource Distribution (Recurring Opportunity)

Help fulfill referrals for families in crisis by selecting essential items from our Distribution Center.

Monthly Food Distribution (4th Friday of each month 6:30am – 9am)

Assist with assembling food boxes for families experiencing food insecurity.

Special Projects & Seasonal Opportunities

• Refresh and support our Community Garden (a certified butterfly garden)
• Special Events for one of our programs
• Back to School Drive
• Hygiene Drive
• Kids’ Clothing Drive
• Trunk or Treat
• Gobble Up a Good Book

Requirements for Recurring Volunteers

• Must be 18 years or older
• Pass a background check
• Hold a Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Complete DCS & DHS affidavits
• Commit to 80 volunteer hours
