Metropolitan Taxicab Board of Trade is a not-for-profit Trade Association representing operators of approximately 25% of the NYC yellow taxicab medallion industry.
MTBOT has 33 fleet taxicab operators and performs member services for each, such as administrative representation for TLC violations for both owners and drivers at OATH; representation for taxi drivers at Criminal, Traffic and Administrative courts; and policy and representation at national trade associations. MTBOT also deals with matters affecting medallion taxicab industry related to both NYC and NYS issues, the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission, Department of Transportation and other City/state agencies.
