Agbor Literacy Initiative

The non-governmental organization, entitled Agbor Literacy Initiative, exists to promote academic achievement within the local communities of current and future members by bringing together community-oriented individuals to brainstorm and implement ways to improve literacy. Inspired by the township of Agbor, in the Delta state of Nigeria, the corporation seeks to accomplish such a mission through support initiatives, events and service, alliances, and advocacy, with ultimate goals of literacy and education, improved self-sufficiency and an enhanced quality of life for all.
