Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care

TThe mission of Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care is to provide comprehensive, holistic, and community-based support services and care for individuals who are terminally ill, as well as their caregivers and loved ones, regardless of their economic status. Our goal is to help the dying person live peacefully, comfortably, and with dignity until their last moments of life.

For over 40 years, Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care have offered personalized, expert hospice care for adults and children diagnosed with a limited life expectancy. We provide palliative care for both adults and children facing life-limiting illnesses without a terminal prognosis, as well as bereavement services for patients' families and the wider community. Our services are available in 11 counties throughout Illinois. We have volunteer opportunities in your neighborhood.
