No Footprint Too Small

Founded in April of 2016, No Footprint Too Small (NFTS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Lincoln, NE, that aims to fill a gap in care for those experiencing pregnancy or infant loss by offering support services that assist bereaved mothers and families as they navigate the grieving process. The goal of our services is to enhance the traditional model of care by addressing the transition from a clinical/medical setting to mental health and emotional aftercare once the loss has occurred, and to improve maternal health by providing resources and support to grief-affected mothers to help them through the healing process. 

No Footprint Too Small’s support services help provide access to:

• Birth and bereavement doula support, as well support provided via a network of grief-trained volunteer bereaved mothers and families
• The assistance of licensed volunteer mental health professionals with specific experience in pregnancy and infant loss, and 
• Referrals to helpful resources related to pregnancy loss. 

NFTS strives to continue to grow as a thriving community resource and support network improving the mental and emotional health of the residents of the Lincoln community and beyond, and helping not only mothers and families in need, but also assisting physicians, clinicians, and other professionals to better serve families and community members affected by this type of loss.
