In August of every year, a team of volunteer-teachers arrives in Cofradia to work for the following school year. These volunteers are responsible for teaching classes, organizing school functions and fundraisers, and community outreach.
All volunteer taught classes are conducted in English, so Spanish-language skills are not required. Similarly, prior teaching experience is not required to work at CBS. While experience in education is undoubtedly beneficial, we value more highly motivated, passionate, and hard-working people.
Volunteer accommodation is provided free of charge in a shared room in one of our volunteer houses, and breakfast and lunch are provided on school days. Additionally, food is provided to prepare meals in the houses. You will need to pay for your flight to and from San Pedro Sula airport and any travel insurance you need.
We are currently recruiting for volunteer teachers to start immediately or anytime in the future. Please email us at MissStephanieCBS@gmail.com for more information.
