Calvary Hospital Hospice

Patient care for Hospice takes place in the patient's home, the nursing home. assisted living facilities. If a patient is appropriate for inpatient care, we can bring them into Calvary Hospital or one of our contracted inpatient facilities. Hospice @Home provides care to patients in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens , Brooklyn, Westchester, Nassau and Rockland counties. We provide the patient and family with visits from the nurse, social worker, spiritual counselor, and volunteer. The Hospice Volunteer Program at Calvary Hospice @ Home is dedicated to providing our patients and their families with the emotional support needed to cope with the difficult issues surrounding death and dying. Volunteers provide companionship and respite care to the patient and family in their homes or in the other hospice settings.
