Accokeek Foundation

For generations, the Accokeek Foundation has educated and engaged communities on the cultural and ecological significance of Piscataway Park. The land, which has provided for and been transformed by visitors through agriculture and fishing, is now being proactively restored to its natural balance. Through these efforts, the Foundation aims to preserve and protect the land for future generations, honoring the Indigenous culture deeply rooted within it.
