Play Like A Girl!

Play Like A Girl! is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ending childhood obesity in women and girls through disease prevention and health promotion programs, volunteerism, fundraising and social events.

Play Like A Girl! promotes healthy lifestyles by educating women and girls about preventable diseases like cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Our approach is to raise public awareness about the childhood obesity epidemic and the unequal burden of obesity among women and girls while also inspiring girls to develop positive self-esteem, make healthy food choices and engage in regular physical activity.

We believe that every woman – and girl too – deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her full potential and celebrate a life defined by wholeness, wellness, and service. We believe that every woman deserves to celebrate in the face of negativity. Thus, this community of women called Play Like A Girl! is leaving its “heart print” on the lives of women and girls around the globe with programs that span the United States and Africa.
