Vibrant Pittsburgh (VP) is an economic development nonprofit organization, located in Pittsburgh, PA, that works to grow a talented and diverse workforce for the region, by attracting, retaining, elevating and educating people of all backgrounds.Led by CEO Melanie Harrington, and a board comprised of business, nonprofit, and foundation leaders, Vibrant Pittsburgh and its staff are focused on working collaboratively with private and public sector leadership to strengthen the region's economic future by growing and retaining a diverse workforce and fostering a more inclusive and welcoming community.

VibrantPittsburgh's efforts are timed to capitalize on the growing job opportunities in the region. More than 20,000 jobs are currently available, with additional jobs being created across five key industry sectors— advanced manufacturing, energy, financial and business services, healthcare, life sciences and information and communications technology.
