Pleaders of Children and Elderly People At Risk was founded in 2016 in the State of Minnesota working closely with PEPA-Africa founded in DR.Congo in 2007.
The organization works in the following interventions;
- Promoting and defending the human rights of key and vulnerable populations; including (i) advocacy on the rights of prisoners and access to HIV and TB treatment. (ii) Access to legal services for key populations including children, women and the elderly. (iii) Advocating for legal reform for access to harm reduction and the removal of criminal sanctions which criminalize People who use drugs (PWUDs). (iv) Access to affordable HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Hepatitis C treatment in the developing countries.
