Champlain Senior Center

    Two of the guideposts for happy longevity are having good people in our lives and learning to play and create after retirement. This, along with attention to physical and emotional wellbeing through nutrition, exercise and the arts sets the foundation of the Champlain Senior Center approach. We serve as a model for multipurpose senior centers across the State and enjoy creating innovative programs for seniors from all over Chittenden County including Winooski, Charlotte, South Burlington, Burlington, and Colchester.

    We faced very difficult challenges over this past year however we are grateful to say that with the significant help of the United Way, Champlain Valley Area Agency on Aging, Champlain Housing Trust, SSTA and numerous volunteers, today we have a flourishing organization and have quadrupled membership and funds.

    What we need now are committed board members to support this fine agency in its return to stature as one of the premier senior centers in Vermont.
