Common Ground Committee

Common Ground Committee, Inc. (CGC) is a citizen-led nonprofit organization, free of political agenda and financial influences, with a focus on demonstrating productive engagement in civic affairs. CGC seeks to show what good looks like and to heal the sense of polarization that distorts effective policy making and political leadership. Through public forums, podcasts, and a scorecard tool, CGC gives audiences hope and inspiration, makes them smarter about current topics, and helps them to hold political leaders accountable. CGC is also part of a national movement to bridge divides and reduce polarization, working with numerous partner organizations in these efforts.
