Women's Survivors Network

Women’s Survivors Network is building a survivor-led ecosystem of support that helps fem-identified survivors of abuse at home and at work to heal and rebuild their lives, and ultimately become survivor leaders who help reshape the environments, organizations, and systems that once harmed them.

Women’s Survivors Network is a survivor-led nonprofit building a long-term ecosystem of support for women who have experienced abuse across the spectrum — including relational, familial, workplace, and institutional abuse.

We exist because survivors are too often left to navigate the aftermath of abuse alone. Traditional systems may offer crisis support, but they often fail to provide the long-term, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care survivors need to understand what happened, escape harm, stabilize, heal, rebuild, and reclaim their identity and power.

WSN is building a guided pathway for the full survivor journey:

awakening → escaping → stabilizing → healing → rebuilding → leading

We support survivors not only in moments of crisis, but through the many years of healing and rebuilding that often follow abuse. Our work centers survivor agency, dignity, clarity, care, and community. We are especially committed to naming and addressing forms of abuse that are often minimized, misunderstood, or hidden in plain sight, including narcissistic abuse, coercive control, workplace harm, and abuse within systems.

Our work includes survivor-centered education, practical support, community care, resource connection, training, advocacy, and leadership development. We also educate allies, professionals, institutions, and the broader public so more people can recognize abuse, respond safely, and help reduce the conditions that allow harm to continue.

At WSN, survivors are not only people to be supported. Survivors are truth-tellers, pattern-seers, builders, and leaders. Our long-term vision is to create a pipeline of survivors-to-leaders who are equipped and supported to challenge and replace the cultural and institutional structures that normalize harm. We envision a world where it is difficult to become a victim and easy to escape, heal, rebuild, and lead as survivors.
