We the People Action Fund is a statewide organization building multiracial, working class power to make Michigan a place where everyone can thrive, no exceptions. We organize teams across Michigan who are deeply rooted in their communities, and bring neighbors together to fight for a better future.

We have organizers all across Michigan who are deeply rooted in their communities, and bring their neighbors together to fight for a better future– from affordable housing, education, and transportation to immigrant rights and mental health care for all.

We build bridges across our differences

We know that in order to make this a state that serves the many and not the few, we need to build trust and camaraderie between working class people in urban, suburban, and rural communities that have been pitted against each other by wealthy corporations and billionaires.

We’re building long-term grassroots power

This work can’t focus solely on elections. Instead of building electoral sandcastles that disappear after voting, we’re building a movement strong enough to hold elite actors at the local and state level accountable so that working class people can thrive for generations to come.
