Mazie Mentoring Program

Mentees enter the Mazie Mentoring Program in their sophomore year by being recommended by school staff as being at-risk of not realizing their full potential in school and in life. They remain in the program through high school graduation.

Our volunteer mentors support their mentees to set and achieve three-, six- and 12-month goals around community service, their academic performance, college research, career options and personal health and fitness The Foundation presents goal achievement awards at these intervals, including a lap top computer, for the successful completion of their college research goal.

Upon completion of the program and graduation from high school, mentees who are accepted into a post-secondary educational program receive the foundation scholarship.
