The MIT Free Speech Alliance (MFSA) is a nonpartisan organization committed to the promotion and preservation of free speech, viewpoint diversity, and academic freedom at MIT.
MFSA was formed in the Fall of 2021 in order to investigate the current climate toward free speech on campus and recommend ways that MIT can restore free speech, open scientific inquiry, and tolerance for viewpoint diversity. MFSA is nonpartisan and will stand up for free speech and academic freedom for all faculty, students, staff, and other members of the MIT community.
