Mission: The mission of Resilient Wellness is to support the transformation of communities and systems impacted by intergenerational trauma with innovative solutions.
Vision: Our vision is to build a decentralized healthcare system that uplifts communities impacted by trauma related health inequities.
Values: The most important aspect of Resilient Wellness is found in our values, or, why we do what we do. These include the belief that (1) culture and experience are central to improving health, (2) the communities closest to the problem have the solution (3) equity and decolonizing of health are critical to health equity.
Organization Objectives
Our objectives include:
Provide access to culturally relevant health services
Provide workforce development training for vulnerable communities
Improve wasteful spending within the public and private healthcare system
Provide a safety net for the under/uninsured
