Greater Park Circle Film Society

The Greater Park Circle Film Society is a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 nonprofit (Guidestar report). It was founded in August of 2008 by four people who live and work in Park Circle, and set out with three main goals:

• To present films not shown in local theaters
• To educate about the art of film
• To foster civic engagement and community outreach

Our mission is enrich the community through film.

Vision

The Film Society has a vision to be an anchor for film in the Lowcountry. We feature local, national, and international filmmakers. We connect aspiring filmmakers with audiences and investors. We further community development through collaborations with neighborhoods and non-profits. We advance knowledge and appreciation about cinema and the filmmaking process.
