Casa Marianella seeks to provide shelter and assistance to homeless immigrants and refugees in Austin, TX. Casa Marianella has two programs. The Adult House has room for 22 men and 5 women each night. Other services provided are food, clothing, toiletries, and English classes. The lively home creates community amongst the guests. The Family Program, Posada Esperanza houses thirteen homeless immigrant women and their children at a time. At Posada, Americorps members assist the women in finding work, housing, and childcare. Posada Esperanza has a home-like and nurturing environment that allows the children to feel safe and secure.
