The Office of New Americans of Miami Dade

The Office of New Americans (ONA) is a newly formed collaborative non-profit organization that seeks to promote naturalization for its financial and civic benefits. The collaborative which is founded by the Mayor’s office and County Commission of Miami-Dade county, Citibank and the Florida Immigrant Coalition is part of a national effort under the umbrella of Cities for Citizenship. ONA works across diverse sectors of the community to leverage and aggregate direct and in-kind resources to promote naturalization amongst the estimated 500,000 eligible legal permanent residents in Miami-Dade county.
