CorpsTHAT

Believing everyone should have access to the outdoors and that conserving the environment can build bridges between communities, CorpsTHAT provides organizational support for the inclusion of Deaf and Hard of Hearing participants in conservation corps and outdoor programs.

Through recruitment, training, education and providing qualified trained interpreters, CorpsTHAT works with outdoor and conservation organizations to make them inclusive of the Deaf Community.

CorpsTHAT also works from within the Deaf Community to create ASL accessible outdoor recreation opportunities and develop ASL environmental education curriculum. The Outdoor Ambassador program runs throughout the country providing local Deaf Communities with more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
