Affordable Housing Management (AHM) is a mission-driven nonprofit organization based in Greensboro, NC dedicated to creating and sustaining high-quality, affordable communities that empower residents and strengthen neighborhoods. For over 55 years we have served our Residents and supported our community through the creation, provision and sustainment of high quality, high value affordable housing. AHM is a ResidentsFIRST! organization, and as such, is fiercely committed to serving our Residents and uplifting our community. To accomplish our mission, we partner with Residents, local agencies, and community organizations to support housing stability and opportunity. At AHM, the mission matters.

We are values driven. We are not housing developers. We are creators, sustainers and care-takers of high quality, high value housing that serves and nurtures community. Working in concert with our Residents, we pursue a bottom line that is measured in terms life enhancement of those we are privileged to serve. We gladly leave profit on the closing table if it means that our Residents can better enjoy life around the kitchen table.

This means that we work in collaboration to create multi-faceted (diverse) communities that serve a variety of housing needs. Our communities support people actively contributing in the workforce and those who have earned their retirement. Our homes serve those who serve our community at large and those who have served our nation. Our communities serve those of all backgrounds, abilities, life circumstances and stages. We offer safe pathways to homeownership as well as non-ownership housing options. In short our communities serve community in the purest sense of the word. And we are incredibly proud to do so.
