Herring Gut Coastal Science Center accomplishes this by:

• Serving as the watershed education hub for the Midcoast Maine region 
• Delivering Science (STEAM) based programs at Herring Gut campus, schools, online and in the field  
• Collaborating with local, regional and statewide partners to provide the highest quality programming and outreach  
• Offering professional development workshops for educators  
• Inspiring curiosity through hands-on experiential and other learning opportunities for all ages
