The California Automobile Museum is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization operated by the California Vehicle Foundation. It is funded by memberships, admissions, grants, and donations.
Most of the Museum’s 72,000 square feet are given over to exhibit space, with over 150 vehicles spanning from the end of the 19th century and into the 21st centuries on display. Both permanent and rotating special exhibits focus on the relationship between cars and culture.
The Museum offers an extensive selection of automobile-related classes for children and adults, as well as specially designed school tours that are aligned with California curriculum standards and frameworks.
