Gold and Silver Giving

Based in McLean, Virginia, Gold and Silver Giving (GSG) is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides nonprofit partners with an innovative way to access new sources of revenue through donations of precious metal items (such as gold and silver) in order to increase the partner organization’s fundraising and advance its mission.

Gold and Silver Giving partners with other 501(c)(3) charities to help them access this new source of revenue from their existing donor base. Many donors probably have unwanted gold chains, rings, bracelets, and other gold jewelry sitting unused in a jewelry box or safe deposit box. The donor can recycle these items by donating them, and receive a tax deduction for 100% of the actual gold or silver value! The proceeds will help further the mission of the donor's charity and recycling gold and silver reduces the need to import precious metals from conflict zones.
