CityWorks DC seeks to dramatically improve early career outcomes for DC youth and young adults of color. We do this by launching innovative programs and mobilizing employers, educators, and city leaders to create a strong, diverse talent pipeline.

Empower Young People: We help young people, gain paid, relevant work experience, earn industry-valued credentials, and build the social capital needed to secure meaningful careers.
Drive Economic Growth: We create programs that support family-sustaining careers, build personal wealth, and strengthen DC’s workforce.
Lead Systemic Change: We collaborate with citywide partners - government agencies, schools, non-profit organizations, businesses, and philanthropy - to design and implement initiatives that ensure lasting improvements to education and training systems.
