The Minority Independent Producer's Summit, Inc. (MIPS), is a non-profit organization operating under the umbrella of The Entertainment Industry Incubator, Inc., a 501(c)(3) Charitable Trust dedicated to furthering the growth and inclusion of minority independent film and entertainment organizations as well as individual artists in media today.
A noticeable gap still exists between reality and the way in which media portrays our multi-cultural stories. MIPS represents a desire to reshape the conversation and then set in motion a structure geared toward action in order to insure inclusion in the decision-making process for content creators of all stripes.
The Minority Independent Producers Summit was conceived to be that move to action.
