Volunteers of America-GNY has been committed to assisting people on Staten Island who are diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities live productive, fulfilling and independent lives since first opening our Community Residence in 1977. Since then, Volunteers of America-GNY has opened twenty-one residences and continues to be an integral part of the community in Staten Island and the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
