Appendix Cancer PMP Research Foundation

The ACPMP Research Foundation is an IRS-designated 501(c)3 charitable organization (EIN: 26-2890160). The Foundation was created in 2008 by a community of individuals affected by Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), Appendix Cancer, and related Peritoneal Surface Malignancies (PSM). ACPMP is dedicated to (1) funding research to find a cure for Pseudomyxoma Peritonei, Appendix Cancer, and related Peritoneal Surface Malignancies, and (2) funding educational programs to educate physicians and patients about these diseases.

• ACPMP facilitates appendix cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei patient and physician education through sponsorship of educational conferences and symposia as well as physician scholarships to educational events.
• ACPMP funds grants for research around the world to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of appendix cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei.
• The goal of ACPMP is to find a cure for every patient diagnosed with appendix cancer and/or pseudomyxoma peritonei.
