Imani Farm at Earthaven Ecovillage

Imani Farm is a homestead-scale, coöperative farm integrated into a Cohousing neighborhood within Earthaven Ecovillage in the beautiful mountains of Western NC. The farm is a pasture-based, permaculture farm with a central focus on organic and soy-free dairy and egg production, perennial orchards and annual crop production.

We all live at Village Terraces, a Cohousing Neighborhood within Earthaven. It is Earthaven's most developed and populated neighborhood. Our current design includes two cohousing buildings and shared systems (water, heat, utilities, rainwater, waster) that are all off-grid and hand-built. In addition to the ecological and spiritual values that we all share at Earthaven, we at Village Terraces are especially committed to sustainable building systems and cooperative living. .

We are a group of farmers and communitarians trying to change culture and our own lives through radical responsibility, regenerative food production, and right relationship to work, health, and each other.
