the College Community Leaders of Gettysburg College

The mission of the College Community Leaders is to incorporate through continuous community service projects the Gettysburg College Student Body in the Gettysburg area community. The CCL will dedicate its time, resources, and efforts into volunteering with the local service chapters within the community, such as the Program, Communities that Care, Seeds to Success, Gettysburg Area High School, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Adams County, the Center for Public Service, Healthy Adams County, and other community social service programs throughout Adams County. The CCL will work toward changing the seemingly negative attitude within the community, concerning the students of the college, to a more positive and realistic image of the type of student within the community. We, the CCL, plan to change this negative sentiment toward the Gettysburg College Student through active and continuous community service.
