Our mission is to fight animal cruelty, help animals in need and advocate for their well-being. Our priorities are to prevent and fight animal cruelty; ensure exceptional, enriched lives for all animals; reduce animal homelessness; and to find loving homes for all healthy/treatable animals. In 2015, CAHS served nearly 8,000 animals through multiple programs and services including: adoptions; cruelty and neglect investigations; veterinary services; a mobile unit; a program for victims of domestic violence or low-income individuals with illnesses who can no longer care for or keep their pets; a mobile unit; dog training; and education enrichment programs, among other things.
