Canfei Nesharim's ("the wings of eagles") mission is to inspire the Orthodox Jewish community to understand and act on the relationship between halachah (Jewish law), traditional Jewish sources, and modern environmental issues. Canfei Nesharim develops programs and materials to provide rabbis, day schools, synagogues and outreach organizations with access to halachic, scientific, and conservation resources to empower them to take actions which will make a difference in addressing today's significant environmental challenges.
