Swing Left is a national grassroots network working to take back the House for Democrats. Our plan is to raise as much money and mobilize as many grassroots volunteers as possible for the eventual Democratic nominees in 70 critical Swing Districts.
The goal of our group of Swing Left NY District 11 (Staten Island and SW Brooklyn) is to raise funds to be given to the Democratic candidate immediately after the Primary election on June 26. Our intention is to give the Democratic nominee sufficient financial and organizational resources right from the start to off-set the usual advantages of the incumbent. We are raising money through a fundraising event on June 12 and an on-line auction beginning the week before.
