Chess in the Schools

The mission of Chess-in-the-Schools is to motivate and engage children from low-income communities. By using the game of chess as an educational tool, we enhance children's higher - order thinking skills, self-confidence, academic achievement and social skills.

Our programs include in-school and after-school programs in public schools, summer programs, and free weekend chess tournaments.
