Created in 2016, the Hobby
Quest Foundation offers free afterschool, and summer and school vacation
camps for young people attending Title 1 Schools in New Jersey or participating
in youth development programs aimed at economically disadvantaged children. Hobby Quest Foundation believes that all children
should have access to high-quality enrichment programming regardless of ability
to pay. By supporting Hobby Quest
Foundation, contributors are intervening directly to close the achievement gap
- sparking artistic creativity and wonder in students whose world view may be
limited by economic limitations; and helping students engage with project-based
learning, a key concept motivating success in critical thinking, especially in STEM
fields.
