Beacon For Veterans exists to help veterans and their families navigate the challenges that can stand between military service and a stable, connected civilian life. Our mission is to connect veterans with trusted resources and support for housing stability, benefits and resource navigation, employment and workforce opportunities, healthcare access, and community reintegration. We are committed to helping veterans find a clearer path forward while honoring the service they have given our country.

Beacon For Veterans is a nonprofit organization based in the Richmond, Virginia area dedicated to serving veterans and their families with dignity, respect, compassion, and practical support.

We believe veterans should not have to navigate complicated systems or difficult transitions alone. Our role is to help connect veterans with appropriate resources, programs, organizations, and opportunities that can address their individual needs.

Our areas of focus include housing stability and homelessness prevention, veteran benefits and resource navigation, employment and career development, healthcare and wellness resources, education, and stronger community connections.

Our values center on service, integrity, respect, collaboration, accountability, and putting veterans first. We seek to build partnerships with community organizations, businesses, volunteers, veteran-serving agencies, and other supporters so that veterans can more easily find the help and opportunities available to them.

As Beacon For Veterans grows, we are also building a committed volunteer leadership team. We welcome people who bring professional experience, community connections, creativity, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve veterans.

Our goal is straightforward: create a stronger network of support so veterans and their families can move toward greater stability, opportunity, connection, and hope.
