Darkness to Light

Our mission is to empower people to prevent child sexual abuse. We believe protecting children is an adult responsibility and that education is critical for prevention efforts, as well as a catalyst for change. Our immediate focus is to make child sexual abuse prevention a national priority.

Darkness to Light is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in Charleston, SC. Our programs raise awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual abuse by educating adults about the steps they can take to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the reality of child sexual abuse.
