SHFB's mission is to provide a coordinated approach to alleviating hunger in East Central Indiana. We operate a distribution center for donated food, bringing food to a central warehouse and distributing it out to 100 programs in 8 counties. We advocate for anti-hunger legislation and do some direct service via a mobile food pantry, Kids Cafe and Summer Food. 63,900 people a year benefit from food from the pantries and kitchens we supply.
